About us

            duPont Builders was founded in 1983, six years after Victor duPont moved from Northern Virginia. Prior to our incorporation, Victor was employed by a custom builder revitalizing Useppa Island, then as a production developer until our incorporation of duPont Builders, Inc. Our reputation is a reflection of our integrity, honesty and communication. In 2000, duPont Builders received Lee County's inaugural "Award of Excellence" for outstanding achievement in Project Design, Environmental Quality and Innovative Technology in "Island Woods Subdivision" on Sanibel Island. Victor is also a two terms past-president of the Lee Building Industry Association and a past chairman of "Code Enforcement" on Sanibel Island.  Victor is currently a board member of the EROC (Executive Regulatory Oversight Committee) of Lee County. 

            With 40 years of experience managing a wide variety of construction projects within Virginia, Georgia, and of course the majority being here in Southwest Florida, Victor's reputation as a builder is exceptional. Each project, whether residential or commercial, new construction or remodel, is unique and our team takes great pride in bringing your vision to life. Our firm is flexible in our contracting services, such as design/build, construction management, General Contractor, or just consulting. Because of our superior working relationships with a large network of subcontractors and suppliers, we are able to provide customers with competitive and quality assurance.
